Filled to the brim with luxurious details and dripping with elegance, this bridal styled-shoot is sure to inspire the princess within. Set in a historic estate, complete with priceless oil paintings and glittering chandeliers, this shoot embraces the current maximalism trend. The sumptuous pastel color palette is reminiscent of Sofia Coppola’s Marie Antoinette, and is absolutely divine! And, with multiple cakes and an array of other tasty delicacies, this wedding design would make any bride feel like a queen.

After the humdrum monotony of the winter of self-isolation, dreamy-styled shoots, where soft femininity meets modern sophistication serve as a vivid reminder of all the beautiful moments the future has to offer. By creating a tender connection through luxurious greenery with elegant roses and a romantic Parisian interior as a backdrop, we present a romantic whimsy theme, adding a modern flair to Bridgerton. In this couture European editorial, we wanted to achieve a true sense of the grandeur of Pylewell Park by creating a modern romantic wedding vision as beautiful as a painting. Ethereal, elegant, romantic, and delicate, the entire bridal photoshoot offers a graceful ambiance achieved through a blend of classic, old-world elegance with fashion-forward details in a brand new charming one-of-a-kind venue.

The Colour Palette

Drawing inspiration from the warmth and beauty of that perfect time in-between summer and fall, this bridal fashion editorial utilised the elegant look of muted hues to fit seamlessly into the colours that already adorn the walls of the majestic estate and its manicured gardens. A carefully curated set of blush, cream, and nude tones, complemented by unexpected pops of soft peach and gold were channeled to bring warmth to the space while speaking to the fall season.

The Venue

This UK bridal fashion editorial took place at Pylewell Park, a place venerated as one of the most stunning venues in the country. From the exquisite, antique original fireplace to the original oil paintings that decorate the Drawing room, Pylewell Park is truly a feast for your eyes. The property sits in 1500 acres of land including 27 acres of house gardens, a number of lakes, huge expanses of open parkland, private access to the beach, and striking panoramic views across the Solent to the Isle of Wight. The interior is reminiscent of another era, awash with Farrow and Ball paint, Italian chandeliers, and beautiful wall-to-ceiling glass panels.

The Details

The invitation suite was drenched in calming soft pastel and watercolour motifs. Drawing inspiration from old-world calligraphy letters, they managed to enhance even more the whimsical details of the luxurious bridal fashion editorial. The beautiful calligraphy and custom envelope liner were highly evocative of the old-time romance. The velvet styling mat and unique accessories also added to the stationery. The reception design was a celebration of the timeless elegance of the Regency period, evident by the perfectly understated tablescape that depicted the beauty of this era through Regency period-inspired accessories. Neutral linens, stationery, and tableware were broken up by a pop of colour provided by the florals and custom-made velvet ribbons that completed the dream-like look of the room. Additional, accompanied details of romantic floral arrangements adhered to the colorful energy of the table, along with classic taupe taper candles and gold chargers. Gold flatware and cut crystal stemware were punctuated by bespoke matching cupcakes while intricate cake pops featuring floral designs by the talented Elizabeth’s Cake Emporium were at the forefront of this whimsical setting. In the refurbished Drawing room, the main cake was poetically displayed on a piano, beautifully placed against the idyllic oil paintings that ornamented the walls, soaked in soft autumnal tones.

For the bridal fashion editorial, veils and gowns were gracefully flowing, showcasing the lightest tulle and lace fabrics, combined with dainty details throughout the stationery and desserts. Luxurious, elegant yet alluring lingerie, perfectly paired with bridal gowns by Berta. The modern accessories from Victoria Percival, as well as the Bella Belle Shoes, fit seamlessly into the ethereal, effortless hair and natural makeup looks. The show-stopping silk tulle veils from Sash + Veil added a remarkable finishing touch to this refined fashion editorial photoshoot. With this whimsical shoot, we aimed to inspire brides to get the most out of their “morning-of” wedding-day routine or the day before the wedding.
